MELANIE C. EYRE
Ms. Eyre graduated in 1987 with honor from Washington D.C.’s George Washington University Law School, and since then has represented both individuals and corporations in litigation throughout the country. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Eyre spent six years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, leaving active service as a Lieutenant (0-3).
Ms. Eyre's valuable experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants over the years. She has represented clients in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, domestic relations, commercial litigation, estate planning, and criminal defense. For several years she served as one of two national discovery counsel for a large national manufacturer, coordinating discovery and pretrial defense efforts in products liability cases throughout the nation in both state and federal courts. In connection with this work she also assisted with media/public relations efforts, including an appearance on NBC’s Dateline.
Ms. Eyre is a member of the Georgia State Bar and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all state and superior courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ms. Eyre is also an member (inactive) of the state bars of California and Virginia.
Ms. Eyre has served as a panelist for Continuing Legal Education seminars on Georgia products liability law and as a guest lecturer on products liability for undergraduate students at Georgia Tech. She is on the faculty of the University of Phoenix, teaching business law and related topics to graduate and undergraduate students. Ms. Eyre is also active in her community, serving on the Board of Directors of the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia as well as the Board of Directors of Special Equestrians of Georgia, an organization offering therapeutic riding to special needs children. She is a also a member of the North Fulton Optimists Club, which seeks to provide recreational opportunities for special needs children in North Fulton.

KAMILAH CLARK
Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Ms. Clark received her Bachelors of
Science Degree from Florida State University's College of Education in 1996
and later attended Florida State University where she earned her Juris
Doctorate Degree in 2001. While in law school, Ms. Clark was the recipient
of the Book Award for Alternative Dispute Resolution and became a Certified
Guardian Ad Litem. Also, Ms. Clark was employed as a legal intern for
Florida State University's Children's Advocacy Center; as a law clerk for
the City of Jacksonville's Office of General Counsel; as a paralegal for the
Department of Revenue; and as a legal intern for the Office of the Public
Defender for the 2nd Judicial Circuit in Florida.
Prior to becoming an
associate at Belli, Weil, Grozbean & Davis, Ms. Clark was employed for six years
as a paralegal with the domestic relations firm Warner, Mayoue, Bates &
Nolen, P.C.

FRANK J. MARQUEZ
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Marquez received his
Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Administration and Political
Science from the New England College where he graduated in 1995. Born to
Cuban immigrants Mr. Marquez ran for the Georgia House of Representatives in 1996,
and later went on to Law School. He speaks three languages and attended
John Marshall Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2003.
In his third year of Law School, Mr. Marquez went to work for the Fulton County
District Attorney’s office where he gained invaluable experience both in and
outside of the courtroom.
Prior to joining Belli, Weil, Grozbean & Davis, Mr. Marquez was an Assistant
Solicitor General in the Cobb County Judicial Circuit from May 2006 until
September of 2007. Then started to work for the Law offices of Jack J. Menedez, where he was indoctrinated into the private practice of Law.
Mr. Marquez joined Belli, Weil, Grozbean & Davis in July of 2008, and specializes
in criminal defense and domestic litigation. He is admitted to the State
Bar of Georgia, and is licensed to practice in the Georgia Superior and
State Courts, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia
Supreme Court, and the Federal Judicial Circuits. He is a member of the
Cobb County Bar Association, as well as the State Bar Association.

CINDIE GREENBAUM ALTER
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Greenbaum Alter has resided in Atlanta since 1975, arriving after her graduation summa cum laude from The Ohio State University. She attended Emory University School of Law, graduating in 1978.
Ms. Alter began her legal career in the office of Ray Gary, Sr., in Mableton, Georgia, and continued in private practice for 11 1/2 years. Her extensive experience includes representing individuals in domestic relations, juvenile, criminal, bankruptcy, and personal injury matters, as well as assisting clients with simple wills and probate matters. Ms. Alter has also practiced before various administrative agencies, including advocacy before the Social Security Administration for clients seeking social security disability. Her expertise in this area resulted in an invitation from the Social Security Administration to testify in Washington regarding the issue of attorney fees in disability cases.
Before taking a hiatus from the practice of law in 1990 to raise her children, Ms. Alter also served part time as Assistant Solicitor for the Municipal Court of Marietta, prosecuting traffic cases. Upon her return to a full time legal career in 2001, Ms. Alter served as Staff Attorney for the Honorable Judge Kenneth O. Nix in the Superior Court of Cobb County, leaving in January of 2009 to join Belli, Weil, Grozbean & Davis.
Though practicing in other areas Ms. Alter has particular expertise in domestic relations matters, including divorce, separation, and child custody, including issues surrounding interstate custody disputes. She is a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution as an Arbitrator and Mediator in civil and domestic cases, and has successfully mediated many cases to resolution.
Ms. Alter is admitted to practice in all State and Superior Courts in Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, The Supreme Court of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Ohio (allowing practice in all lower Courts), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Believing strongly in contributing to the legal profession through volunteer efforts, Ms. Alter served as a faculty member at the annual Family Law Institute in May of 2005, as speaker and chairperson for the Cobb Bar Association Family Law Seminar in December 2006 and as Program Chair for the Cobb Bar Association’s monthly Family Law CLE meetings in 2006-2007. She also volunteered for the 2007 Law School Orientations on Professionalism.
Ms. Alter is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, where she served on the board of trustees and as President of the Family Law Section in 2006-2007 and as vice president of the Family Law Section in 2007-2008. She is also a member of the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta, the Georgia Mediator’s Association and the Cobb County Republican Women’s Club.
